How long a break between spawns?

How long a rest do you give your breeders after a succesful spawn.
Ive just moved 3 week old fry from a pair and wanted to know how long a break they need to recover?

From my experience that is always decided by the female but I would suggest that not letting the male watch football all weekend would help. ;)

I was just wondering as what if they spawn again straight after you remove the babies ,is this going to be too much stress on the parents?

I've had pairs spawn every 9 to 12 days for 4 -6 months before I gave them a break.
