Hi. This is a picture of two young fish I acquired locally this summer. They are still young but I think the Marlboro red will be a nice fish when it gets bigger.

Thanks for the compliments. The red/turk has given me a little tapeworm problem so he is in the dog house right now but I think it will end up being a nice fish. The little red one I picked out of about 60 red marlboros that were imported in from singapore that day. Most of the fish he gets in are culls at best but I picked the best one out of the batch. I think he will be a nice fish he has a small red eye, very little peppering and is growing well.

Brad the Turq is probably around 8 months old around 4" the PB is around 6 months.

Hi Arvind. It's a small store in Austin, Texas I am talking about. I don't know who he gets his discus from. He told me they are imported from singapore. I'm sure he is buying them for cheap and that's why only a few good ones are mixed in with each batch. I like to go the day after he gets them and look them over for keepers. The last two shipments he received didn't have a good fish in the bunch but sometimes he gets some nice fish.
