This is something I am doing with my used Peat. I place the panty hose with the used peat inside on top of my red wigglers. The moisture in the peat keeps the dirt nice and loose. But even better, the worms are always at the top. Makes getting them for feeding super easy.

Give it a try,

Jack

Good idea, Jack. I bet the fish fertilizer in it doesen't do them any harm, either! Liz

I would just dump the peat in along with an equal amount of shredded newsprint and in a few weeks you'll have even more good compost. When my bin gets full I just throw a bucket full of the worm dirt/worms into my garden beds. If I could grow discus like I can redworms I'd be exporting
to Asia!
