Salt!

Does anyone or have tried to see how much salt is too much? Im just curious!

1 tablespoon / 1 gal water is alls that I would use and only for a week or less. Dips and baths you can go higher but they are short time intervals.

Whew! Thanks Al! The reason I ask is because I'm treating my 30G for hex since one of the discus had developed it. I used 1.5 cups of salt and that got me wondering how much is too much. O, btw, the temp is 93F! I was worried about 1 discus that was hanging around the back of the tank except at feeding time. Yesterday he was fine! Not shy anymore. I have not been able to feed metro yet though! I need to get a scale to properly measure out the amounts of food and metro. Or is there another method you recommend Al?

When i do dips i do 2 tbs./1 gallon for 6 minutes and it works well. I wouldn't use that much for extended periods of time, just like Al said.
