I have 6 twenty gallon high tanks with two sponge filters in each tank. Are there small air blowers out there to handle smaller set ups? Or I am I stucK with an air pump for each tank.

:bounce2: :bounce2: Gary, call John at Jehmco; I have the smallest linear piston pump & love it. Runs 7 tanks, 125g, 90g, 37g, 65ghex & sev'l 20s. Put mine on an inverter with deep cycle battery for outages, feel much safer. He has a website www.jehmco.com I think. Give'im a call, JMO Dottie ;D ;D ;D ;D

i keep debating the issue myself, small pumps are so much cheaper! but i'm at the point i have 5 tanks going and planning more, would like to finish with 15-20 but collecting one at a time.

but i'm wondering how big of a pump will i need?

also, i can buy so many discus for $200+ :(

someone awhile back posted about buying medical pumps. they can be purchased used, are quieter, run forever and are cheaper but i can't remember who it was. try that route before you commit
