Server problems/maintenance

Hi everyone,

Many of you have probably noticed that the board is running slow, or does not load at all. The company that our server is hosted with is currently having some issues with a core router and the maintenance is ongoing. This problem should be corrected within a few days at most. I'm sorry this is causing problems but please be patient. It will be fixed soon. Thanks.

It was pretty intermittant, during the day. Occasional problems, but everything came back quickly enough. Thanks for the update!

Heck.... is that why it took forever to post pics yesterday?. And I was blaming my photo illiteracy? (hey, no dictionary for that one :P lol)....

I encountered the "can't login to reply to the post error on the board" (would sign me off when I tried to post) on my aunt's P4 Win XP PC (since my internet connection hasn't been working well since the &^%$#@! ice storm) - turns out her new PC has Norton's firewall and it wasn't allowing the browser to accept cookies.

This webpage worked - just had to use www.simplydiscus.com:
