Ok, I didn't see any where more specific to put this so here it is:
I have a new 150 gallon tank in my home office and plan for it to be planted and home to some adult discus. I have a number of not so old ebo jaeger 250 watt heaters. I plan on 2 for the tank (enough?).
I would like a contoller for the heaters so I don't have to reach waaaaaaaaay down into the tank to change temps and want to accuratly control things.

Suggestions on controllers?

Thanks!

John

someone on here is selling titanium heaters at a great price!!! It's probably cheaper to buy those heatersinstead of controllers, and they have controllers on the outside of the tank. You could get digital ones too if you want. I've heard bad stuff about the not-so-old Ebos but have no personal experience.

I have these that I use with both some old ebo 250's and with some titanium heat
elements. A bit more money but my fishroom temp fluxuates a lot and it seems to work well. If my tanks were in a room with a more controlled temp, like an office, I'd probably just use separate units like the titanium heaters with the external controls.
