HI:
COULD ANYONE ADVISE ME IF THERE IS A CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE WHICH DISOLVES OXYGEN IN WATER WITHOUT EFFECTING DISCUS? IF SO WHAT IS THE NAME OF IT.

Hi all,
Arfan, do you mean raising the D.O content of the water body? You can use Hydrogen Peroxide to up the Oxygen content of a water body, BUT YOU SHOULD ONLY DO THIS ONE TIME. Oxygen exchange takes place at the surface of the water body and if there are any bubbles created below the surface, at the air bubble/water surface.
