this is the biological mother of a spawn that were laid in ph 3.0. my tanks crashed while i was gone for christmas, when i returned not one fungused egg. and her ovapositor had fully retracted making me think it had happened over 12 hours ago at least. she is a wiggler eater, so she is over here again. lots have survived so far. today they should be free swimming

She's very pretty. I've considered getting some of them. Are the colors in the photo pretty accurate?

actually they are very accurate. i will go look for some other photos of her in the past. she has been taken away from her eggs, she is still lightening back up. cg
They look like a predecessor to the Blue Diamond. Do you know how they came about?
Brad
I'm curious about that too. She doesn't look like the one on the web site, but Gabe told me he's not a very good photographer and he uses his own camera. I almost got the Corulean's on my first order.
Do they have the iridescence of the Cobalt's?

found these. yeah the pic was accurate for the light available. the flash really washes them out. i am no camera guy. kinda more like the point and shoots. about the irredescence, if you mean the tinfoil look, almost metallic. i would say not. my favorite description of their color is the memory of a mercury vapor street light, shining on a pair of blue jeans. cg
Thanks, now I'm more confused than ever on what my next order should be :)

i am not a good photographer, hell i ain't good at much. i guess it depends on how much light you have when you take the pic. anytime you flash more light it washes them out. after dark in lowlight they are a beautiful fish. i looked at JW site and they were the only choice for me.
this morning most of their babies swam under the partion to a female red royal blue from cary, and she don't mind, but her boyfriend was hungry so he got moved!! cg
I'd be happy to take some off your hands ;D
Seriously, if you ever sell, let me know. I'm interested...
