need help!! strange problem!

my BD has been picked on since i introduced him with my other fish several months ago. i seperated him for awhile and put him back. he's holding his ground better now, chases some of the others off if they hang in his corner too much. mostly him and my tefe like to hang around the filter.

anyway, just noticed this abnormality today, i was studying the tubes on my females and trying to look at the other to compare, my bd has a white stub protruding slightly and is enlarged on the right hand side around this white thing it's also very red in this area, please look and tell me if you've seen this and what to do about it, tomorrow i'll move him to his own tank again.

The fish might be bunged up by something. Try epsom salts 1 tablespoon/10 gallons when he's in his own tank.

I agree,
Try salts and clean water and alittle rest for now!

Other then that looks like a pimple to me IMO nothing really to worry about.

k he's in his own tank with the epson salt, one tbspoon. he's been eating fine and acting fine, just is swollen up and doesn't look right there. i'll let you know if it helps or not. i was worried it was like a worm or something.

It looks like a pimple (hopefully not a tumor). Some of these things are viral rather than bacterial. Just keep an eye on it and let us know. Many times they run their course and go away.

my BD is not getting any better, now he's upset i moved him and treating him, he doesn't want to eat now and the worms die quikly form all the epson salt!

oh, i don't think it's a pimple either!!! he's swollen on the right hand side maybe 1/2 and inch up from the white spot. theres like two lumps, one near the white thing and one slightly above.

hey, i was just watching my fish in my main tank....
one of the turk females has been shaking and getting ready to lay eggs, this female had a thin white sting poking out, then started to poop(over a few minutes), then some more white string. the poop was normal dark color but what's up with the white string? are these some type of worms or just hex?

at first i thought hex till i saw normal poop come out.
