Mac's discus is in Washington. I'm not sure if he breeds or imports discus. What part of Washington are you in?

Hey Carol...I'm in central WA(just over the Cascades from Seattle) near Wenatchee. Just moved back to my home area after spending the last 5 years down in Salem, OR(I saw the Oregonian thread.)

i think you need to drive right on back down to oregon and find someone down there. rumors have it carol has a ton of fry...and jeff doty is there...and Dennis!! maybe you can make a day of it and get a grab bag.
yes larry matineck is in the seattle area and im sure he have nice fish if he has any available. either that..or ship from one of the breeders on this board.

How about a drive to Vancouver Canada, i.e. some cross border shopping for Discus? Are there any nice fish available in the Vancouver area?

Thanks for the tips guys...I may be IM'ing a few of you.
As far as taking a trip to Oregon: I lived there for the last 5 years! Why didn't I know about this?! Anyway, with a 12 hour roundtrip drive to Portland alone it's not something I can really pull off in a day...but Seattle is only 2.5 hours west of me. But I still have a few friends down there, so maybe I can make a short trip down there.
One of the problems is that I prefer wild colorations over the more selectively bred ones. I don't see many breeders offering these. Any reason why, or do I just need to ask if they keep them? ???
Thanks everyone!
