Welcome Stonefox. I do not believe there are any discus only magazines available in English right now. However, I know the UK has some great tropical fish publications that are very informative and have articles about discus in them quite often.
There are many books, depends on what level of hobbyist you are as to which would be best for you. If you can tell us how long you have been keeping discus and what type of information you are looking for, that would be helpful.

I subscribe to two monthly mag's. Recently there were some very good articles on our beloved Discus, from setting up to breeding. More and more pages lately are taken up by reef keeping methods/ equipment, I guess there's more money at stake. Most adverts are to do with the salt water
setups and they obviously pay big money for them so the editor keeps em happy.
If I an help with any material from UK please just ask.

Joe, that is the main culprit, heck why don't they just rename it Practical Marine Fish keeping??
I must admit to reading every article as I kept several large marine tanks for many years (not reef). It's amazing how high tech everything is nowadays, and can be damn expensive! Life was definately easier then-why did I change to Discus? - the challenge. Still a long way to go.
