View Full Version : Mac's Discus Info for the group
For the third time in two years, I have bought some Discus from Steve at Mac's Discus and what a shipment! I ordered from him 1 Blue Diamond, 1 Red Ribbon, 1 San Merah, 1 Red Doll, 1 Snow Flake and a Thai Yellow. He additionally sent me another San Merah and Tiger Striped for free with my order. This is not the first time he has done this, last time he sent me a beautiful Butterfly.
Steve has always been great to deal with and I recommend him to everyone. The guy is knowledgeable and will spend time to help you and answer your questions. He even called me today to make sure the fish got here ok on Tuesday and to make sure I was satisfied with the fish...
Yes Steve I sure am, thanks for your professionalism and care.

Hi KC,
If the pictures are on your computer, and are less than 85KB in size, you can just reply to this message and there will be an ATTACH option under the reply box. Click the "Browse" button next to this and you will be allowed to select the picture from your hard drive. Once you've selected the picture, just click the POST button as you normally would.

Hi KC
It looks like you've been bitten by the discus bug big time, lol. ;D 8) ;D
I remember how exciting it was learning about discus and getting my first digital camera. You'll find lots more pictures of discus in the photo section. You'll also find tips on lighting and other aspects of picture taking too.
I use extra lights on my tanks for photos. I may take 30 photos sometimes to get one good one to post. I post only my best pictures. I try to get a good angle so my discus look very round.
I purchased some of my first discus from Macs too. I still have a snakeskin female. She grew into a very large, round, well patterned fish with a small red eye. Others I have since sold. It's kind of like getting your first car. Later on you'll see some other discus you just have to have and trade in the ones you don't want any more to make room for the new ones.
My discus from Macs were very healthy and I learned all about how to care for them and their water.
Your adult white pigeon blood is my favorite.
CArol :heart1:
thanks, it's hard to get the color to come through. I am happy, with what I got, they will add a lot of color to the tank.
