I'm with Jeff, those are gorgeous fish. I love the heckels the best. Be sure to keep us updated :)

Those are truly beautiful fishes. Heckels are my favourite too.
Best of luck in breeding them ;)

Fantastic looking fish.
Have you bred any wild discus before.
pete
I was able to breed some browns in Asia many years ago with rain water without any knowledge of what discus was. After that, I couldn't even able to keep them alive. This is the first attempt after a long rest.

Hello jimmy
At the moment i am keeping a selection of wild discus including green tefe,
xingu, heckels, manucapuru blues, red spotted greens, madeira blues and
peruvian greens, sadly i don't have a digital camera so i can't post any pics.
But in the next year or so i am going to try and breed some of these wild
fish so if you have any luck please keep us posted, also if i have any luck
i will let you know.
regards..........pete
Dan:The Madeiras are too young. I'll try to breed the Curiperas fron the previous year. They may be mature enough to breed. I'll try to pair them up with one of my proven domestic male and see how it goes. I'm thinking of using a purple Ghost. I certainly will keep the Curipera as a thorough breed. Only train them with the domestic only. I'll you know how it goes.

Good Luck Jimmy they look great. ;)

HI Jimmy
really nice fish. I think you should try crossing them with other red strains.
