Has anyone had any luck with freeze dried food? I am thinking of Hikari or Tetra Bloodworms. Other than bloodworms has anyone tried any other types of freeze dried food. ???

I've tried krill and bloodworms. My Discus did not like them.

hi,
i use a lot of freeze dried food as we in india dont get much of live food which is free of disease.

i have used a lot of tetra and sera freeze dried blood worms and brine shrimps. my fish seem to love them. will shift to hikari now and try that too, as i think that is also a good food source.

never had trouble with the freeze dried food, in terms of blockage, or diseases.

try it....... and let us know if it worked.

hope this helps.

It might be hard to beleive but the number one food of choice for a lot of my discus is freeze dried bloodworms. The only thing they like better is earthworms.
