Spawning Heckels???

I'm curious about who has had success spawning Heckels? Do you do anything special?

I don't know of any proven recorded spawning of Wild Heckel x Wild Heckel, but they have and can be crossed with other types.

You've got that right John. He'd done it several years ago when eveybody was claiming who's first on the other forums. He did it with Ph4.5 conductivity of 20ms. had to do 80% W/C everyday to prevent Ph crash. Not an easy job. I'll let him tell you all about it.

I beleive Dennis used F1's from Malaysia not w/c

from what I've been told(by someone whos has bred w/c)

its a long drawn-out process that simulates the seasonal changes that they would experience in the wild.
