I just received a new 4x65 watt hood from Hellolights.com. It's a Corallife for $209. At my LFS it sells for over $400. Check out this link if you need some artificial sun. I now have 480 watts over my 150 planted tank. The plants are pearling like they each have built-in airstone!

That's a pretty kickin' lighting system you've got there! Does it still have the 10,000 Kelvin and Actinic lights? I'd be interested to see how your plants grow with them, those particular lights aren't the usual spectrum for plants. When you replace them go with lights in the 5000-6700 *K range.

Actualy I kept the 10,000 bulbs and replaced the actinic with 6700's. Anyone need some unused Actinic CF bulbs??? ;)

i just got a new high output compact set up in the mail. The lights are 9300k with 110watts. the tank looks way to bright for me. I'm thinking of sending that back and using 2 T8 tubes overdriven 2x. Would 2 different tubes be better (5000k and 9300) or just 2 5000k? I got 2 phillips but they don't have a K value on them.
