How long for waiting discus to get settle in the new tank

Hi all,

Just would like to know that if i move my discus to new tank which the water quality is the same as old one and same fish room. Any experience that how much time that they will take to settle down.

Next is i just received my fich back from my friend, how long that i have to QT them and do they need to pour some medicine to them or just wait and see first?

Moving discus from tank to tank in your own home doesn't stress them that much. Usually a day more or less and they are back to normal.

Definately quarantine fish kept at another's home for 4 weeks. If friend has healthy fish I wouldn't add meds unless I saw a problem.
