Has anyone here done this? They are much cheaper doing it that way. The lfs here are way too expensive.

I know some people who have had great experiences with aquabid. I'm convinced it's one of the best ways to get the more hard to come by species. Other than that I use AquaBotanic for large purchases when I don't have enough credit at the LFS. :)

I bought some African plants (anubias, nymphaea) from "Sb": (he sells fish too)

(their website: http://www.rehobothaquatics.com/ )

And I've bought some fish from "lotsoffish" (he sells plants too):

Had good luck buying from both of these people.

dm,
I have purchased plants on Aquabid from Sb and Thomashawk. They both have great plants and service.

I have also purchased plants via Aquabid from Sb and Marcus "Ebayaccount" had very nice plants as well. As mentioned you can't go wrong with Aquabotanic either.

Tom :)

Thanks for the help. I think online is the way to go, especially because I am planting a large tank.
