I'm Wondering The Percentage Of Reverse Osmosis Users Out There.

INTERESTING poll; However, lately I have been changing over to 100% peat filtered water. No post make-up and the tannins, from the peat seem to benifit the discus(???), i believe.
I purchased a R/O with 150 gallon output; all stainless steal housing,etc.; however, the membrane was overheated,(hot water ) and this dramatically affected the preformance. So in desperation I set up a 5 gallon sealed container, filled it with peat moss and ran the tap water through it. i get about 95 us. gal. to a 5 gal. container; the peat works as well, if not better. I can increase temperature to match my tank water. By the way -- NO WASTE WATER DOWN THE DRAIN---. Benefit plus.
