2 adult Uaru amphiacanthoides "pairs"

as it says...2 "pairs" of adult Uaru. The fish are F1's, I raised them from babies. Beautiful fish. About 2 years old, these fish are expected to live over 10 years (probably more) if in good care.

One pair is larger than the other, about 6" and 5", respectively.
The larger pair has spawned several times. Eggs appear fertilized (by color), but are eaten.
The other pair has spawned once, and I could not see the eggs (they were eating the last ones when I arrived) so I couldn't ascertain fertilization, but the fish act like a pair.
Unfortunately I can not ship, so must pickup. I am in Sharon, Massachusetts.

If someone wants a very cool, interesting, not-so-common South American cichlid, this is the way to go! Uaru are a lot of fun.

I wish I lived closer too! Ryan is right, they are wonderful fish, who love the same waters as discus. And, mine are so peaceful, they will not harm a cardinal tetra!
