posting picture

I have tried everything I can think off to get a picture on my profile .Nothing seems to work for me .
Can someone explain the way to do this

Let's see, in order to post use an avatar. It must be posted on-line. So, if I post pics that I want as an avatar, I could attach them to a post then use the link as an avatar!

Hi Bob,

In theory that would work, however when messages are pruned or drop off the board (they disappear after a few months) the pictures get deleted with them. So you'd be left without a profile pic.

I will soon be setting up a way for people to upload their avatars themselves, from their hard drive. This is still in the works.
