This is just an idea but why don't we have a list of breeders and their locations that are members of this forum so that new comers like myself and others will know who is closest and what strains they have and so on and so forth? just an idea?

I think most of us has seen that section (or at least I have). What I think Tony means is something like:

California:
- LA: breeder X (contact info)
- SF: breeder Y, Z
- SD: breeder A

Texas:
- Dallas: breeder B,C,D
- Houston: etc.

It's a list in which most of the distributors, breeders & serious hobbyist who sell fish could be on. Something more updated compared to the other web sites that I've seen.

good idea,what i do to find local breeders is look in classifieds in all newpapers under pet or fish for sale,and the other thing is type discus breeders on your computer when you are online,and you will be surprised at how many breeders,importers,wholesalers,and hobbiests have discus for sale in your area or closeby state.good luck.

I like the idea of breeders being able to list themselfs per state then maybe by city. For instance I am looking for some breeders here in Indiana.
