Day 3

Hello everyone,
Day 3 in now here and I have snapped off a few more pics. I bought 2 shooting stars, 2 snow whites and to rose reds/san merahs. They seem to be doing ok....really skittish today (rose reds) any quick movement around the tank and its a mad dash into the other side of the tank...ouch!, did do a 30% water change today with aged water (4 days) all parameters are looking good, temp is 89.9 and with salt in tank to help em relax. Going to try to keep activity down a little around the tank....I know I should ease them into traffic around the house (2 kids). Everyone has been good not to bother them. Still do not understand why skittish today and their appetites have dropped off. Going to give it some time.......Rob ;D

Rob start bringing the temp down. Try 88, and then 86 in a day or two. ;)

If you want them to be a little less spooky try covering the sides of the tank. I see a lot of light from the one side and this will cause shadows and freak them out. 8)

Really nice shape on the snow whites.

Many times discus are more under the weather on day 2 or 3. These are big fish that might take a little longer to adjust than 3 month old babies.

Yes they are Carol. It depends on the breeder from what I'm told.
