When will the fries' eyes turn red?

Hi,

According to my prior experience in buying discus fries and now my own hatched fries, none of their eyes show the red color at first months. But the reference book wrote by Degen, the fries have red eyes at very early stage.

How about the eye color sometimes yellow sometimes red-are this kind of discus counted as red eye discus? I heard that there are some real red eye and some are not.
Why and how to distinguish?

So my question is when will they turn red general speaking?

I don't know when will they turn red exactly,but I think the color of the eyes of your fish is nomoral, IME,my babies are not red-eyed till growing to around 2 inch. HTH

I've noticed eyes turning red at as early as a few weeks old in some of my fry.
