Ok I just noticed my fish twitching a little at the back of the tank. It starts twitching and turning sideways like he is sitting on the back of the tank then I notice about 13 little white spots at the back of the tank so maybe they are eggs but I don't know for sure never had my fish lay eggs before. Does all this twitching sound normal???

Hi Matt,
IMHO it sounds like a case of gill flukes, very common in discus. If they start scratching against objects it will add further evidence to this diagnosis.
On the other hand, it could be a problem with your water parameters. ie too much ammonia, nitrite phospates etc, pH crash. Have you done anything with regards to water out of the ordinary?
Other, more experienced aquariasts on this site may be able to help you further with regards to this, but as a treatmnet for gill flukes, i'd do a large w/c before treating with praziquantel.

Twitching isn't normal. When they lay eggs the female slides up the back of the tank like a snail would slide. Eggs are usually golden in color and you can clearly tell they are eggs.
