I have discus in a planted tank, I have one 3 feet PL light now, thought of getting another but worried if the lighting will be too bright for discus..... Any opinions???? Thanks

I use floating or over shadowing plants in my planted tanks to keep from "blinding" my fish.

Hi,
Discus will get accustomed to any most light levels.I keep many in bare glass tanks, with lights on 24 hrs aday, and they do fine....

On my 75's I usually have 2 -40 watt bulbs, and with the bottoms and sides painted white ...its pretty bright in there.
