Just made my Blue Python tank cleaner

Water bed fill kit for 4.46 @ Wal_mart.
1/2" hose end 1.77 @ Lowe's
25" 1/2" vinyl hose 7.00 (.28 per ft) @ Lowes
Used the vacumn end of and old cheapo pet store vacumn

It's so cool. I'm changing my water right now.

Now I'm filling. and there's a Plus. the cheap little water bed valve leak enough that I can fill a glass to monitor the water temp. while filling

For a couple more dollars you can put in a shutoff valve as well. You can get them from PetSolutions.

Sorry no Pics. But it's exactly like what you get at the pet store, but blue. Shut off Valve?? Hmmm.. Maybe. I'll have to look into that. What's the advantage of a shut off valve?

The ball valve allows you to stop the siphon if you need to, without breaking the siphon
