Looking for input on netting Discus. Want all sizes and wondering which will hurt the least one the discus.What are your xspereeennssess?

yep I use big ones also!!! Little nets are just a little to scary for me!!! I watched a person at an LFS net a 3.5" discus with a small net and the poor thing got all caught up in it and had the livin crap beat out of it!!! It was a shame!! :'(

I like the white ones got a red panda caught up in those green buggers and ruined his top fin ???

Yes those green nets imo are garbage!!!! Hope your fish is alright.

small fish under 3" - white net.
breeders and adults. - 10" diameter ice cream tub.

Hand-tame your fish early, then you can just scoop them up in your hands and move them :) I also switched to those white nets. The hard rays on the discus' fins get stuck in the green nets and then you stress the fish trying to wrestle them back out of it.

Large, soft fine mesh nets. Large mesh nets - the green ones mostly - are really tough on not only discus, but all fish. I once had a catfish get so tangled in a net that I had to spend 20 minutes cutting him free.
