Can I put 1 1inch baby discus in 10 gallon tank and change water everyday and feed it well. Will this work??? Cause I don't want to put this little discus with my big fish. IF this works, how much water should I change daily with that 10 gallon tank with 1 little fish???

you mean just the i inch fish alone? i m afraid that may make the fish frightened/shy as they like to be in a group.

hi flexy
can you be more specific about the measures (H / W / L) of the tank ?

im now using a 8 gallon tank as a quarantine for new little fish. two weeks
ago i put a 1 inch blue diamond inside and it already double it size.
i feed a lot of meet / artemia / r. worms.
W/C 50% + slime suction every day.

oren.

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me......Discus do better in groups of 6 or more in larger tanks, this is especially important with small fish.

What i meant is putting 1 baby discus into 10 gallon tank for 3 weeks till it gets bigger. After that I will put it into main tank. I think it should work.

mine is going to stay there for at least five - six weeks. after that i will move it to a larger tank.

my experiment is about fattening. i heard that some breeders in thailand feed enormous amount of food and changing most of the water in the tanks every day.

I feed him well. Today he took lots of white worms. His stomach looked like it will explode. Will also do 30% water change daily.
