Quarantine, How Long?

About 4 days ago I bought a bristlenose pleco from a LFS, it was in a tank with wild discus. The discus were 4 inches and all looked very healthy. I currently have the pleco in a community tank with angles and tetras. Everyone is looking fine to date.
I'm thinking of putting the pleco in my discus tank to control the algae, how long should I quarantine it?

I quarantine everything for 4 weeks or longer.

thanks, very distrubing picture on the one link, make you wonder and think about a separate quaratine room for sure.
