I live by the GM place where the canucks played tonight for the playoffs.
our town has gone wild.!! we won game 7. onto the next level.
not sure our town should be allowed to be in the playoffs...the cars have been honking steady and everyone cheering for hours now.

I agree the Canucks should not be allowed in the playoffs. Didn't they riot after they lost to the Rangers in the finals nine years ago.

YOgi. no curling for me...such a ridiculous game. lol
and curling rinks smell funny.
if i have to watch any sports.it has to be the playoffs of hockey. and only if canucks are in it.
and yes.the vancouverites did riot..after the last game. and if last night is any indication...we cannot be trusted to have a winning team or game in town.
they honked and hollered and hooted for over 3 hours or more downtown.

LOL Rod. I think you better get over here to canada so you can be educated. they play it on ice.....and they throw these "rocks" down the ice....and have to hit the bullseye. if their going too slow.....you gotta start sweeping like mad to get it to go further.(the rocks are big round thingies knda flat on the top and bottom with a big handle.
Its definitely considered a canadian game. but it is in the olympics or winter games im sure....and we're not the only ones in the world who play it.

ok....i heard from my Aunt tonight who is a curler....that there are curling teams there in oz.and most likely brisbane. and new zealand has a team.they were in the olympics and teams came over to teach you guys...
now get down to your artificial rinks and watch or learn the game. lol..
