tear in anal fins...sounds worse than it is...

Ok, I noticed my pigeon has some tears in her, think its a she, fins. One small one on her dorsal fin, and three on her anal fin. They are small tears, about 2mm.

SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?

With good water conditions, the tears will heal in a couple of days. I posted a picture of one of my females with a good, long piece taken out of her tail, a few days ago, and today you wouldn't even know it was ever torn. Healthy fish + clean water = fast healing.

With your fish, just be sure that it doesn't progress into fin rot, otherwise, it's just normal wear and tear, and she'll be alright. HTH

I noticed a small tear in my Red Turk's fin about two weeks ago. I added some salt to the water and three days later it was back to normal.
