discus stop eating

hi,
i have heard that people have discus doing well in the beginning.and suddenly they stop eating for few days.what cause that what you could do to prevent that?

Many things can cause a discus to stop eating - none of them are good things ;) Maybe you are overfeeding. Maybe the water or filters are dirty (smell the water and filters). If you've added new fish or other items to the tank you may have introduced parasites or germs. Maybe other tank mates are harassing this discus and he is afraid to eat. You need to do some detective work to answer your question.
