There are 10,000 mg in 10 grams.

Im not sure about the conversions for grams to teaspoons. But 15 ml is one tablespoon and 5 ml in a teaspoon.

There is a really good site with conversion tables for all kinds of measurements.

The measurement for the parazi is 1/4 tsp per 25 gallons. What I imagine Chuck wants to know is how many teaspoons in 10 grams of product so as to get an idea what he will need for his needs. Frank 8)

yer correct Frank

if prazi dose is 2mg/L 4L=1gal (approx) then 8mg prazi/1gal
25gal would need 200mg (8*25=200)
200mg prazi = 1/4 teaspoon
1 teaspoon prazi = 100gal
how many teaspoons = 1 gram
If have 600 gal how many grams do I need.

MATH SUCKS!!! ;D ;D

Chuck it depends on how you want to use it. For a Bath a 1/4 tsp for 20 gallons. For food mix 1/2 tsp prazi to 1/4 lb of food

Yep, but I still want to know how many teaspoons of powder are in the 10 gram bag. I'm metrically challenged too ;D

Hi,
If 200mg=1/4 tsp

then 1 gram = 1.25 teaspoon

10 gram = 12.5 tsp

(according to the info above)

HI

the following info I got from BArry when I purchased Prazi before:

One dose of .6 gram (rounded 1/2 teaspoon) would be enough to start fish passing worms, if they have any.

Hopefully, it will help.

Jehmco has 100% pure prazi in bulk. It's available in 50g and 100 g containers. 50g for $99 and 100g for $189. They also have a water soluble type that is weaker, so you need to add more. The water soluble type is $10.95 for 100g. You use approx 1tsp per 20gal, whereas you use 1/4 tsp per 20 gal of the pure type.

Hey Frank:
Note that I said "prazi in bulk". If anyone wants to order less than 50g, then I don't see why they shouldn't order from you. You are entitled (as long as it's not illegal), to buy in bulk, repackage in smaller amounts, resell, and make a profit. Nothing wrong with that. Isn't that what Jeff and Chad in LA do with CBWs?

This hobby is expensive enough as it is, and I think that if you can afford to buy in bulk, it's cheaper. Look at Costco.
BUT, there's also room for people like you that want to sell smaller amounts. This forum has been a good resource of sharing information for cheap, reliable online shopping.

Frank, even if I had stated the Jehmco pricing in a separate thread, you would still be mad at me. Prazi pond is readily available in 50g and 100g containers from koi dealers. The seller of prazi pond gets it in 55gal drums and repackages it into 50g and 100g containers, and marks it up.

I don't think that you're ripping anyone off by charging more per gram, when it's sold in smaller quantities. Not everyone wants 50g of prazi, and Barry Ilman and DiscusGeo will continue to have customers who only want a small amount.

It was not my intention to make you look like you're overcharging anyone, but to offer the alternative of buying in bulk. However, as you requested, I will not contact you again.
