Can anyone point me to pictures or plans for building tank racks of 2x4 and plywood in basement for growing and breeding tanks and pipe setup also?

Use Deck screws or lag bolts! ;)

Lag bolts are the only way to go. Predrill your holes so you don't split the wood. ;)

The deck screws will work great also...and you dont have to predrill for the most part. If there's any concern just use a dab of construction adhesive on the joint before you assemble. PL400...or PL Premium.

interesting pictures B_B You attached right to the wall studs? And underneath, there's that heavy duty underlayment like they put under tile in the bathroom??

It's gonna be wonderful all full of tanks and fish.

Yeah I attached right to the stud using 6 inch lag bolts, what you can't really see is that the 2x4's in back are on a cement part of the foundation that sticks out in my garage. Don't worry they'll hold the weight just fine LOL....Brian

I really appreciate the feedback so far.
I think I am going to use 4x4 verticals and 2x4 horizontals with thick plywood surfaces
for the tanks to rest on. ;D ;D
