Discus and Peppermint Bristlenose!

Hi,
I had a 5cm Peppermint Bristlenose in my discus tank and i moved him out of my frontosa tank and placed him in, but he was unfortunatley attacked by the discus. and went over the overflow system and got stuck there and died :'(. and i just want to get another little guy in there. and was wondering if its possible to put a peppermint bristlenose in there? a 5cm one?

I am not sure about a peppermint pleco,but I have keep albino bristle nose and bushynose plecos with my discus for yrs with now problems,you just have to let them grow a little before putting them in with the discus,I let them get to about 2 inches first.My discus never even look at them.
