When do I feed new arrivals ….. and Juves.....

Hi Guys how are you doing all..
I was wondering, when do I start feeding the new arrivals I read that I should feed them after 24hrs
My other question is, how many times a day I feed 3" Juves. And how many times for the adults

You can feed just a little bit after 8 hours if they had an easy trip - otherwise next day. Feed 3 inchers 4 - 6 times per day. Adults twice per day.

Watch the fish after you put them in the QT tank. If they are active and exploring their new home, they will probabally eat right away. I have had them eat 10 minutes out of the bag, sometimes 30 minutes. Little guys usually eat right away if they feel secure.

I have had some juvies take a day or two. I had a pair of adults take a month to start to feed with enthusiasm. Unfortunately, they were fed cbw's exclusively by the previous owner and were reluctant to feed on other foods. I guess they finally accepted the other foods when it became apparent cbw's would never be an option on the menu.
