Introducing new plants

I am about to plant up a new tank, and I am going to put some plants in from my previous tank. What could I use to wash these plants in before planting them into the new tank?

Why would you wash your plants? Just rub them gently clean with your fingers (if they have some algae or something on them). Otherwise do not wash them. Perhaps you should cut the roots, if they are too long and cut some older leaves.

You can wash them in a light bleach solution 1:19 Bleach:Water for 2 minutes to help remove algae spores and snail eggs. Just make sure to rinse them very well afterwards.
