Breeding Cones

Should i buy a breeding cone, is it better than just an ordinary piece of slate, or using a plastic plant with broad leaves? Where cna i get a breeding cone?

I buy my cones at Rosenthal Pottery. They're on the net. However, most discus will spawn on slate, PVC tubing or even bricks.

an inverted terra cotta flower pot works....
their very cheap.
but cones are nice to look at.
you could buy a fish almost for the price of a cone. just depends on what you want.
