Which do you prefer, pellets or flakes?

ONF1 or ONF2?

Why?

If pellets, which size?

Thanks,

Brian

The ONF pellets did not work for me. I rotate between 1&2. I feed one can of 1 then 1 can of 2.

I use both ONF1 and ONF2 flakes. The pellets were a little harder to get them to eat them but I have finally got everyone to do it. I think the pellets are cleaner food but tough to initially get them going.

For my fish that are red, blue or brown base. I feed a mixture of ONF1 and ONF2. I put them all in one can and shake them. I find it pretty funny that we all like to provide variety but don't do it per meal.

It is sort of like feeding only meat, then only vegetable, and then only starch. Why not mix them together. When you eat a meal there is a good mixture of different type of food. Why not do the same for your discus?

For my yellow based white based, or light based discus I only feed ONF2.

I prefer (or my fish do) the flakes. Frank-ON1

I would prefer the pellets simply because they're cleaner, but flakes it is!

Thanks, Brian

Hi all,

I use ON 1

As henryd said, I also feed mixed food. That way every one can pick there favorites and it is a great way to intruduce new food.

I mix tetra bits, Azoo red bits and ONF bits in a can. The bits are three different sizes. The bits work really nice in the Eheim automatic feeders for the juveniles. I feed them to all my fish at least twice a day. The juveniles gobble them up, the adults will eat them, but prefer cbw

I feed my fish mostly the ON1 flake. My fish really like the flakes from brine shrimp direct called Plankton Gold Flakes. I know Cary feeds this flake alot also. Very good luck with it.

BrineShrimpDirect has a flake that is a mixture of all their flakes.... and they sell it for $1.00 less per jar than their regular flakes !!! It is called Deli Flake.
