How to setup my first Quarintine & Hospital Tank?

I was just wondering how many gallons, decorations, filters, heaters, temperature, ph, should be for Quarintine and Hospital Tanks?

My quarantine tank (about 55 gallons) is in the kitchen - away from the bedroom and bathroom tanks. It has it's own hoses and water storage container. I keep it the same pH and temp as the rest of my tanks. Nothing in the tank but a heater and the intake tube of my Aqua Clear 500.

I'd probably use a 20 - 29 gallon as a hospital tank. Same water temp and pH, no decorations.
