Many companies produce discus specific formula foods, both flake and pellet. Use human vitamins instead of fish vitamins to save money. Vitamins are vitamins.

The single best move in feeding Discus I ever made has got to be feeding live red worms. I am talking about "Red Wigglers" not CBW or blood worms. Earthworms couldnt be easier to culture so you have never ending supply. The fish go nuts for them and grow very well eating them along with flakes and frozen goods. I no longer use beef heart or CBW since I started feeding them and let me tell ya, I NEVER have to vaccuum left over food after that feeding.

Hi Paul

Just wondering, how big are your Red Wrigglers? Do you feed them whole and do you find any of your fish won't go for them? Some of my fish don't seem to be so keen on worms but others fight over them.
