Hi Everyone,

I have a pair of San Merahs that paired up in the community tank (with 5 other Sans). I was not going to pull them originally until I could tell they were definately a pair. Today, I noticed that most of the other discus in the tank have little white splotches covering their body where the pair is attacking them (not severe white spots, like body fungus) but it seems as if their slime coat around there has been removed from being attacked.

What's the best treatment?

Also, in the process of moving the pair out, the net scratched up their sides a bit. Anything I should do?

They're probably ok but I would add some table salt at 1TBS per 10 gallons.

I've also had good success using Melifix on minor wounds such as this.

Yep, salt and water changes should do it.
