My wife and I went to Yosemite on Tuesday and Wednesday with my Buddy Justin and his wife Norma.

Regarding Yosemite: the Half of it has not been told. JFKjr

We even caught a brief hail storm on top of Glacier View.

That tree is about 300' tall or 95 meters.

Best part of Yosemite was spotting a Coyote and sitting on a rock and watching it walk through the woods. I was unable to get a photo of it. I was having to Zoom in to far and every photo came out with half a blurry coyote.

Great pictures! I can't believe I lived in S.F. for 5 years and never visited Yosemite!

I've always wanted to climb Half-Dome...

Peter,

You need to come back during the winter. The landscape is completely different when it is all under a blanket of snow. It's actually our favorite time of the year there. We try to go twice a year.

I agree Yosemite during the winter months is a sight to behold...it takes on a totally different look....Spring is also a great time, as the falls of Yosemite are flowing their fullest.
I would like to share a few pics from the the Valley floor of Yosemite since OD gave a great pictorial from the top of the world ;) of one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.

The Merced River runs through the Yosemite Valley and is a class 5 river ;D. This pic is from the 140 Entry to the Valley
