What do you consider expensive? Most Combinaton meters are in the $100 US+ Range. I recommend the Ones made by Hanna Instruments www.Hannainst.com and not just because I am a distributor for them. They are the best meters for the $$ on the market IMO. Their customer service is also second to none. 1 year warranty on the electrode in most models, 2 years on the meter itself. The mid to upper range ones also include auto calibration, auto temperature compensation and a F or C thermometer too. Can't do better IMO.
