I Think you need to give them alittle more water and room to swim around :) I know we discus nuts overstock..but thats a little much don't ya think!

Jeff. The fish are in a large bucket (30 gallons i think), while being acclimatized and rinsed of the tranquilizer that is in the shipping water. The water level is about 2 inches in the pic.

hahahaha. True Al. But if you can think of an easier way to get a picture of a whole bunch of new fish with one exposure you let me know.... ;)

And yes those are all my fish. The ones in the bucket are from Alberto of Aquatechnics, they came with me on the plane the last time I went to Miami. Rsg's and Manacpuru blues. The two next pictures are from elsewhere. They came to me like this:

Here's a couple of close ups. I see spots! The fins are down so they look football-shaped, but I assure you they're quite round.

I have a total of....hmmmm... lemme see.....yikes! I have 20 wild fish right now...i gotta start thinning out the herd. I sure love the wilds. I'd trade all my domestics for more wilds.

There are no before and after shots actually. I have some after shots of the closeup rsg's pictured above, but they are yet to be developed. I will post them eventually.

The two pix above that follow the bucket pic are two fish I did not get from Alberto, and so there is no "before" shot of them. But they are "after" shots because the fish have been in my tanks for quite some time.

Thanks Tad and everyone for the compliments. I'm very happy to have these fish. You just can't compare the demeaner of wilds with domestics. SO much more natural looking of course , but they're just so much more curious, picking around looking for food. playing together. stress bars go on and off like a light when they are "in a mood" stuff like that. I've never noticed domestics I've had to behave that way.

Aloha Dan, got to love the pics. At first when I saw the pic I thought there was going to be a fish fry. :o

You have a great collection of wilds there. I am really starting to shy away from the domestic bred fish and leaning towards the wilds. Its pics like yours that tend to make me want more wilds. I am in the process of constructing my fish room and will be breeding angels, guppies, endlers livebearers, and discus of course.

I look forward to seeing more pics of your wilds and hearing more on their progress.
