Micron Cartridge lifespan

Does anyone know how long the magnum microns will last? I have three that I rotate over a 10 day period in my HOT magnum. How many times can you clean and re-use these things before they don't work anymore? Do they become less effective with time? Any thoughts?

I'd guess til they stop working ??? I really have no idea, the only thing I used the micron filter for was a DE filter so the junk wasn't coming in cotact with the filter but was traped in the DE

I have 2 micron cartridges i have been reusing and cleaning by the recommended method (soak overnight in a 1:2 ratio of bleach:water) so far after ~ 3 months things seem OK. IE I still get crystal cear water with the micron filter.

I hope to get a lot more uses out of them.

Thanks Rick, thanks Daniel. I appreciate the feedback. I have been re-useing mine for about 4 months now. However, I clean mine with a product called OxyClean. I don't like useing bleach because of it's negative environmental impacts. So far, so good.
