Over the past couple of years I've many more females than males. How about others ???????

I have had predominately more females....like 90 percent of my discus ???

In some species, temperature affects sex. That is, the higher the temp during incubation, you receive a greater percentage of females or males. Potentially, this may be the case in discus.

Hi Frank. Read my thread on sexing young discus. I mentioned in it that 80 to 90 percent of the fry are usually females. I alsay give you a way of selecting males when the fish are about half dollar size. The headine is "Sexing young Discus".
