Bright colors Dave :)

The bright colours are a result of playing around with the brightness and contrast settings in Photoshop. My digital camera is nothing special, and its flash tends to wash out colours. As such, I don't like using the flash. The trouble is that my discus don't sit still for long, so I need to use a fairly fast shutter speed - which leads to dark pics when I don't use flash - which leads to me mucking about with them in Photoshop.

I think the pics look kind of neat, if somewhat unnatural. I definitely wouldn't want all the shots to look like this. A more a natural looking pic of the red turquoise is here:
